2. Shopping Trolley Revolution

   Awarded best ‘funky design’ by Good Housekeeping ‘tried and tested’ the Rolser shopping trolley has arrived. Wheeled shoppers – the answer to green grocery shopping.

   If you can get over the old fashioned image associated with wheeled shopping bags, they really are the most sensible answer to avoiding a mountain of plastic bags and a good way of limiting the quantity of food you buy, cutting down on waste. Not only are they now available in some eye catching designs but some can fold so small you can tuck them under your arm or keep them in the boot of your car. The Rolser range is on display in our showroom now.

   Also available is the Sholley Trolley, a proven winner with its traditional design and latest styles and is now on view in our showroom.

4. Let’s Go Out Rollator

    

    

   Do you require help with balance whilst walking in the home or outdoors? If so here is the product for you, a compact lightweight  4 wheel walker with a seat, this is one of the finest and most stylish around. Elegant, comfortable and steady. Weighs only 6.1 kg. Simple to fold. Needs little space and stands by itself when folded.

    

    

   

   The seat on Let’s Go Out is made of brown artificial leather with a beautiful white seam. Soft and comfortable to sit on, yet durable and water resistant.

   The rollator is kept unfolded by a  lock under the seat. To fold the rollator, lift the seat from the hole in the middle. The lock is then released and the rollator folds up. To unfold the rollator, press the seat down.

                                 

    

   The front wheels on Let’s Go Out are made of soft rubber, 24.5 cm in diameter, with ball bearings, which make it easier to climb over obstacles with the rollator, such as pavement kerbs.

   The rear wheels of Let’s Go Out have built-in soft rubber suspension to give a softer ride when you are walking on rough surfaces. TrustCare’s outdoor rollators are the first in the world with this feature.

    

                                             

   The elegant large front wheels make it easy to turn and cross over, for instance, pavement kerbs. The rear wheel fenders protect your clothes from getting dirty. Shock-absorbing suspension on the rear wheels makes it run smoothly on all surfaces.

              

   Let’s Go Out has ergonomically shaped rubber handles, adjustable in height from 78 to 96 cm to fit different statures. There is of course both an effective brake and parking brake, which are easy to operate. No visible wires.

   Let’s Go Out is tested and approved according to ISO regulations for a user weight of 130 kg.

5. The Right Ramp For You

    Do you need help to gain access into your home? If so, we at MobilitySure are only too happy to assist you to make the right decision and choose from a wide range of ramps. 

   

   Here is an example of recently installed ramps and railings. Gladys from Blackpool, a sprightly lady in her 80’s approached us to help her gain access into her home. She is now able to visit friends and neighbours on her brand new Sovereign 4 Shoprider scooter. She currently does her own shopping and visits her local doctor’s surgery, which means she is now more independent and does not have to rely as often on her good friends.

6. Town Centre Business of the Year – 2013 FINALIST –

   MobilitySure has had a great 1st year after launching in March 2013. We were pleased to be a finalist in the Town Centre Business of the Year Award 2013, organised by Wyre Council.

   In the coming year we shall be extending our premises so as to increase stock availability and offer a wider range of mobility scooters, power chairs and wheelchairs from the following suppliers:

7. Naidex

   Although we have only been open since April 2013 we have, in fact made three visits to Naidex, the UK’s largest independent living event, of which two visits have been to the NEC, Birmingham and another to the Excel Arena, London.

   We have found the events spectacular, greatly inspiring and full of innovative ideas. The mobility industry consists of an endless array of products ranging from smaller items such as Dycem non-slip mats, jar/bottle openers to larger items such as scooters, powerchairs, wheelchairs, lifts and specially adapted motor vehicles to name but a few. It really is endless and truly fascinating.

   These exhibitions have been invaluable to us and have enabled us to access our suppliers, e.g. TGA – scooters, Roma Medical – scooters, powerchairs, wheelchairs and medical supplies, Freerider – scooters, Classic Canes – extensive range of beautifully handcrafted walking sticks and NRS – medical supplies.
