1. TGA Maximo Plus

   Introducing TGA Maximo Plus, the latest and first road legal in our line up of super convenient folding scooters that build on the success of the Minimo and Maximo models.

     

   A larger design, offering more space, comfort and capability whilst still providing the transportability you need to go where you want, when you want to.

   Fully adjustable tiller, quick release seat with adjustable swing-away armrests mean that every owner can achieve a comfortable driving position. Comfort and stability are also provided by a specification that includes large pneumatic tyres, mono-shock rear suspension, rear anti-tip castors, a powerful 270 watt motor and high quality 70 amp control

   A lightweight lithium battery weighing just over 7lbs (3.3kgs) provides a range of up to 12.5 miles (20km) for users up to 21 stone (133kgs). When recharging is required, the battery pack can be easily removed and taken indoors, leaving Maximo packed in the boot and ready for the next trip out.

    

   MaximoPlus won’t fit the smallest of car boots like Minimo will but when folded it measures just 38”(97cm) long by 24”(60cm) wide and 21.5”(55cm) high. Impressively compact and transportable for a scooter offering large scooter levels of comfort and stability.

   Despite being a road legal scooter the Maximo Plus is still lightweight and compact enough when folded for hassle-free transportation in the boot of a typical estate car, hatchback or 4×4.

4. Karma Lightweight Wheelchairs

   If you’re in need of an extremely lightweight wheelchair, then look no further. Here at MobilitySure we are constantly asked for lightweight wheelchairs and the Karma Ergo Lite and Ergo Lite 2 fit the bill. They are available in 16″ and 18″ seat widths, transit and self propel models, have ergonomic seating and weigh as little as 8.3kg and are extremely compact. Having being manufactured from aircraft grade aluminium alloy, ensures the strength and durability expected from a Karma product.  All these features together with its appealing design make it a firm favourite. Larger seat sizes are also available in the Karma wheelchair range.

   Lightweight wheelchairs provide freedom of movement and portability to users and attendants. They are great for increasing your mobility and fold easily away for storage. Lightweight wheelchairs are the perfect choice if you are finding that your existing chair is holding you back.

5. The Right Ramp For You

    Do you need help to gain access into your home? If so, we at MobilitySure are only too happy to assist you to make the right decision and choose from a wide range of ramps. 

   

   Here is an example of recently installed ramps and railings. Gladys from Blackpool, a sprightly lady in her 80’s approached us to help her gain access into her home. She is now able to visit friends and neighbours on her brand new Sovereign 4 Shoprider scooter. She currently does her own shopping and visits her local doctor’s surgery, which means she is now more independent and does not have to rely as often on her good friends.

7. Town Centre Business of the Year – 2013 FINALIST –

   MobilitySure has had a great 1st year after launching in March 2013. We were pleased to be a finalist in the Town Centre Business of the Year Award 2013, organised by Wyre Council.

8. Wheelchair NHS Vouchers Now Accepted

   MobilitySure is pleased to announce that it has been accepted onto the list of approved suppliers from the Specialist Mobility Rehabilitation Services which allocates a voucher that contributes to the cost of a wheelchair. Anyone who receives a voucher can now visit our store and purchase a suitable wheelchair with the correct specifications.

    

   In our showroom you can view many variations and styles of wheelchairs, these may be self propel or transit in design.  We stock many different makes of which Karma and Roma Medical are always available.

9. Power Pack For Wheelchairs

   A very welcome consideration for the carer. We are all only too aware of the care and support required for any person who suffers from a disabling condition. Therefore a wide range of wheelchairs including power pack units from our Roma Medical, TGA and Karma suppliers accommodate these requirements and are available at MobilitySure.

    

   However, have you ever spared a thought for all the carers who selflessly give their daily dedicated services to loved ones. Not only does this take its toll emotionally, but obviously physically too. Here is where the power pack comes into its own, this neat and compact unit takes away all the strain of pushing by powering the wheelchair along.

   It has twin drive wheels for greater traction, dismantles easily for transportation and storage and has a removable battery pack for charging. It has a maximum range of 10 miles/16 km, is suitable for users up to 136 kg/21 stone and has a variable speed setting with reverse. The power pack also simply lifts out of use to enable normal wheelchair function.

10. Naidex

    Although we have only been open since April 2013 we have, in fact made three visits to Naidex, the UK’s largest independent living event, of which two visits have been to the NEC, Birmingham and another to the Excel Arena, London.

    We have found the events spectacular, greatly inspiring and full of innovative ideas. The mobility industry consists of an endless array of products ranging from smaller items such as Dycem non-slip mats, jar/bottle openers to larger items such as scooters, powerchairs, wheelchairs, lifts and specially adapted motor vehicles to name but a few. It really is endless and truly fascinating.

    These exhibitions have been invaluable to us and have enabled us to access our suppliers, e.g. TGA – scooters, Roma Medical – scooters, powerchairs, wheelchairs and medical supplies, Freerider – scooters, Classic Canes – extensive range of beautifully handcrafted walking sticks and NRS – medical supplies.
